Born on 1st January, 1971,he is the son of the late Madhavrao Scindia of the Scindia clan who held many other significant positions during his tenure. He represents the Guna constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Scindia was elected to the Lok Sabha in February 2002 from the same constituency previously represented by his father. Sachin Pilot
Sachin Pilot, born on 7 September 1977 is the Rajasthan Congress Chief, earlier a Minister of State for Corporate Affairs. Before entering public life he was employed with Delhi Bureau of British Broadcasting Corporation and then with American multinational corporation General Motors for two years. His father, late Rajesh Pilot was a seasoned politician and served as a Union Minister. Sachil holds a management degree from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. He became the first Union minister of India to be commissioned as an officer in the Territorial Army, fulfilling his desire to follow his father’s footsteps to be in the armed forces.
Akhilesh Yadav
Akhilesh Yadav, just of 41 years old and currently the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Born 1 July 1973, he is the youngest person to hold this office in the state at the age of 38 years. Professionally an engineer and the son of the exemplary politician, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Alhilesh is said to have assisted the party’s rise from 97 seats in the 2007 Vidhan Sabha Elections to a total of 224 and hence was elected the 20th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh by the party’s MLAs. Naveen Jindal
A MBA from the University of Texas and owner many racehorses as well as a professional polo team, he is former MP from the constituency of Kurukshetra in Haryana. Born on 9 March 1970, he is the Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Limited. He is an active campaigner for population stabilisation, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, health and education. Naveen is well-known in political circles to spearhead the campaign for hoisting the Indian Flag atop private buildings. Jindal went ahead to established the Flag Foundation of India to instil pride in the Tiranga among citizens through arts, seminars and workshops aimed particularly at children and the youth. His father O. P. Jindal was a revered politician and an excellent industrialist.
