Shah Rukh Khan in this movie plays a mild-mannered introvert middle class employee named Surinder Sahni, whose love for the gorgeous and full of life energetic Taani (Anushka Sharma) causes him to convert himself into the loud and fun-loving “Raj” to win her love and affection. The film received positive reviews and broke many box office records. The film’s script was recognised by a number of critics and was invited to be included in the Margaret Herrick Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, just a day after its release.

Don, a movie by Farhan Akhtar, is also known as Don: The Chase Begins Again. Shah Rukh Khan here plays a negative yet powerful role. Don is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, starring legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. SRK perfectly portray underworld crime boss who is obsessed with taking over the world where Vijay is a look alike of Don. SRK for Don underwent special martial arts training for his role in the movie and performed his own stunts. For this film, he was given the award of best actor by Star Film Awards.

KKKG evokes nostalgia among the expatriate Indian audiences. The film tells the story of an Indian family, which faces troubles and misunderstandings over their adopted son’s marriage to a girl belonging to a lower economic group. SRK plays the role of Rahul Raichand, a adopted son indebted to his parents and tries to fulfill all their wishes. The film won several awards at the IIFA, Zee Cine Awards and Screen Awards ceremonies. At the 13th annual Valenciennes International Film Festival, the film won five major awards. SRK was adjudged as the best actor for this movie.

The film stars Shahrukh khan and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles, along with six young debutantes. This romantic film had been a good addition in Shah Rukh’s hit film collection. Here SRK plays the role of a music teacher who takes the challenge to change the strict habit of an old headmaster (Amitabh Bachchan).  With this movie Amitabh Bachchan was able to shed his “hero” image and to play older, more mature roles. This was the first film in which Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan appeared together. This created a strong buzz for the film as it brought two super stars of different generations together. The story is about how he manages to get back to his step mother and younger brother for convincing them that the father was not a cheater. Main Hoon Na is one of the most successful Indian films discussing the Indo-Pakistani conflict from a neutral point of view.

The story is about Raj and Simran, two young non-resident Indians, who fall in love during a vacation through Europe with their friends. Raj tries to win over Simran’s family so the couple can marry, but Simran’s father has long since promised her hand to his friend’s son. For this movie, both Shah Rukh and Kajol received various awards.

Devdas is a sad triangle love story of Shah Rukh, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Madhuri Dixit. SRK plays a wealthy law graduate in the early 1900s, who returns from his studies in London to marry his childhood sweetheart, Paro (Aishwarya Rai). However, the rejection of this marriage by his own family sparks his descent into alcohol, ultimately leading to his emotional deterioration. The film also won 5 National Awards and a further 5 Filmfare Awards. The 3 lead actors have played their roles very well, no doubt. But the end of this movie unfortunately is very sad.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is another great movie of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also known as KKHH, is an Indian Hindi coming-of-age romantic comedy drama film. he plot combines two love triangles set years apart. The first half covers friends on a college campus, while the second tells the story of a widower’s young daughter who tries to reunite her dad with his old friend. The film was the first Bollywood film to enter the UK cinema top ten. The film won 8 Filmfare Awards and is the only film in the history of Bollywood to win all the four best acting category awards at the ceremony. Years after its release, it still makes appearances on Indian television and has achieved an iconic status.
